With more than ten years of litigation experience, Dr. Kodo advises and represents clients before courts in France.

In addition, as a learned expert of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), he is qualified to represent parties in litigation involving any of the ten areas covered by the OHADA Legislation (Arbitration; Transportation of goods by road; General Trade/Commercial Law; Accounting for companies and Corporations; Cooperative companies; Debt collection and Enforcement Measures; Securities; Insolvency proceedings; Corporation and Mediation), in any of the seventeen African States that are Member States of the OHADA Treaty (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Chad, Congo, Comoros, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo).

His very good knowledge of OHADA case law, first acquired during the preparation of his Ph.D. thesis on the study of more than 1281 court decisions rendered in the application of the OHADA Uniform Acts, then later as the main author of the Annotated OHADA Code (Code Pratique Francis Lefebvre OHADA, Traité, Actes uniformes et Règlements annotés), the 5th edition of which is forthcoming (2022), coupled with his unique experience as a former technical adviser to the President of the CCJA, make him a particularly qualified lawyer for proceedings before the CCJA.
