Arbitration

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb – United Kingdom), Dr.Kodo is a seasoned arbitrator and also represents parties in arbitration proceedings. 

Arbitration appointments  

Dr. Kodo regularly seats as arbitrator. He has served as an arbitrator on Investor-State arbitral tribunals as well as commercial arbitration and construction disputes.

As a sole arbitrator, he has issued arbitral awards in English. Some of his most recent works as an arbitrator include sole Arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings – in English – claim worth $17.765 204,64; co-arbitrator in an investor-State arbitration worth $40,385.073.37 involving an African State.

Counsel in Arbitration 

Dr. Kodo represents his clients in arbitration proceedings before different arbitration centers. One of his recent counsel works included representation, as co-counsel, of a client in ICC proceedings in Paris for a dispute worth € 50.000.000.

Post Arbitration Litigation 

Dr. Kodo also represents his clients in post-arbitration litigation, such as enforcement or challenge of arbitral awards. He recently advised a client facing the challenge of their arbitral award worth € 414.463.586.
